The Zukert is the newest in our line of exclusive plastic chess sets. While not not meant to be an exact replica, the Zukert was inspired by the Zukertort, an original Jaques of London chess set from the mid 1800s that was eventually named for the Grand Master Johannes Zukertort. The Zukert's knight with its old world, nostalgic look is what distinguishes this set from others. We simply refined and accentuated its features to create a unique design while maintaining the overall aesthetic appeal. We applied this principal to all six chess pieces creating a chess set that is truly a master piece. (Chess board is not included).

As with all of our exclusive plastic chess sets, the molds and molding process is superior to that of lower quality sets producing chess pieces with sharper detail and less noticeable mold lines. We use real billiard cloth for the pads and not felt paper and spare queens are a standard feature. The Zukert's unique design, how it looks on a board, and the feel of the pieces in your hand will make it your favorite chess set.
